From Benchmark to Action

The key focus of Comparison International's work is assisting you to complete an objective and insightful Best Practice Benchmarking process, in a cost- and time-efficient manner, and to maximise the learning you gain as an organisation, and the usefulness of the outputs of that process.

We make it a point of principle that we are not in the game of trying to "sell" you consultancy support that follows on from the benchmarking process. We won't turn our backs on you, we're happy to provide further advice and perhaps to "signpost" you to help that you might find useful, but we choose not to offer "general purpose consultancy" as part of our services. We prefer to stick to what we're good at, and to reinforce our clients' assurance that the benchmarking process is totally focused and objective.

Experience has taught us that users of our benchmarking services value this approach, and also value the opportunity to draw upon our help for two specific types of support that complement the Best Practice Benchmarking process and facilitate the translation of benchmarking findings and learning into focused action and enhanced performance:

In most cases, an Action Planning Workshop is included as an integral part of the Best Practice Benchmarking process. The facilitator who has assisted your PROBE team through the benchmarking process continues to assist as your team translates ideas into firm action plans.

Recognising that translation of action plans into successful implementation is not as easy as it sounds, Comparison International has sought-out and adopted an innovative and highly effective training workshop which can help you and your colleagues to enhance your change management capabilities.
